Robert is an experienced senior financial analyst having worked for General Motors for over 25 years. He has an extensive financial background managing and evaluating budgets, forecasts, and manufacturing financials with a strong emphasis on internal controls, policies, and procedures. Robert is currently an adjunct professor teaching business classes at Henry Ford College and is extremely active at Detroit’s historic Little Rock Baptist Church. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Aimee is the Senior Academic Advisor for Women’s and Gender Studies at Texas Tech University. She has extensive experience in college student recruiting and retention as well as management, public relations, and leadership development. She has previously held positions as a public-school teacher, an operations manager, associate director of admissions, training specialist, and learning and development analyst. By sponsoring STEM focused student organizations, mentoring and developing employees, she has empowered women and girls to be confident, know their value, and reach their potential. In addition, Aimee is passionate about providing opportunities and resources for underserved/marginalized groups to change lives and promote a life of independence.

As a certified Montessori teacher, Cari has held a head teacher role for more than twenty years instructing children from the ages 2 ½ to 6. Cari fosters the Montessori philosophy which leads children to be confident, independent, and problem-solving thinkers. Cari has established a great working rapport with colleagues, families, and the community by guiding, nurturing, and volunteering. Cari holds a Montessori Credential from Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute and has served on the PTO board within the community she lives. She also volunteers at her church teaching Bible classes and coaching youth soccer. Cari is currently the Assistant Director at Legacy Children’s Academy.

As an Early Childhood Professional with more than 30 years of experience in the Childcare industry, Mary has held management roles at Bright Horizons Family Solutions, KinderCare, and Child and Youth Services with the military abroad. Her roles have included being a classroom teacher, director, and regional manager. Mary has successfully increased enrollment, built client relationships, and fostered partnerships with parents. Mary excels in the areas of Child Care Licensing and is active in Great Start to Quality and The National Association for the Education of Young Children. She has a proven track record of new center start up, building teams, and promoting high quality operations and education for children and families. Mary holds a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University.

Mark’s determination of being able to drive philanthropy through for-profit companies has been a lifelong goal he now focuses on through a variety of non-profits, particularly at Peaceful Hugs www.peacefulhugs.org and Legacy Children’s Academy www.legacychildrensacademy.org, both headquartered in his hometown of Detroit, MI. An experienced turn-around executive, Mark has served as Chief Operating Officer and other high level executive positions throughout his career in high growth start-up organizations as well as Fortune 500 companies and Higher Education institutions. Throughout his career he has focused on building revenue and optimizing operations to drive profitability resulting in a strong track record of results, execution excellence, and improved efficiency while also driving customer engagement and client satisfaction to unprecedented levels. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree, graduating summa cum laude from Lynn University, and plans to offer assistance to those in need through his non-denominational Chaplaincy work early next year.
