We provide essential items needed to set up a home- such as bedding, kitchenware, and furniture.

We guide individuals through the process of obtaining birth certificates, ID’s, and important documents needed for jobs, benefits and housing.
Transportation
We arrange reliable transportation to medical appointments, job interviews, and school so lack of a car doesn't become a barrier to your stability and success.

We assist with urgent utility needs and help families avoid shutoffs by coordinating support with community partners.

While we proudly began in Detroit, our mission extends far beyond one city. Today, Peaceful Hugs serves individuals, families, and communities across the United States, providing resources, programs, and support wherever they are needed. No matter where someone calls home, our focus is on making care, connection, and hope accessible to those we serve.

While our primary mission is serving communities throughout the United States, we are honored to partner with Pamoza International in Malawi to support meaningful community initiatives abroad.
